Man dies in mobile home fire in Greenville County

PELZER, S.C. (AP) — A man has died after a mobile home fire in Greenville County.

Authorities say the fire started just after midnight Monday at the home in Pelzer.

The coroner’s office says the victim couldn’t get out of the home and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy has been ordered to help determine the identity of the victim and the cause of death.

Firefighters haven’t determined what caused the blaze.
