SC music concert held to benefit wounded warriors

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Seven musical groups are appearing at a Rock the Vets concert in Columbia to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Saturday’s event was being held at the South Carolina National Guard Armory on Bluff Road.

Organizers say the event is family-friendly and will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Groups scheduled to appear include The Dirty Low Down, Justin Smith, John Wesley Satterfield & His Damn Find Band, Bag of Toys, Danielle Howle, Summit and Fallen Kings.

The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization created to assist injured service members and to help injured service members aid assist each other.
