Santorum wrapping up South Carolina campaign stops

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum plans to wrap up a campaign swing in his GOP nomination visit with stops in Spartanburg and Rock Hill.
Santorum has planned a news conference Wednesday in Spartanburg to discuss a candidate challenge by the Palmetto Family Council.
He plans to cap the day with a town hall meeting at Winthrop University in Rock Hill.
On Tuesday Santorum had stops in Myrtle Beach, Conway and North Charleston.
Santorum hasn’t been alone among presidential hopefuls in this key early primary state.
Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman wrapped up a two-day campaign visit on Tuesday and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke in Charleston on Tuesday.
