11 people injured in 2 Greenville County shootings

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are investigating two Greenville County shootings that left 11 people wounded.

Deputy Matthew Armstrong says deputies responding to a call at around 3 a.m. Sunday heard gunshots and found three people suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to hospitals for treatment.

About an hour later, Armstrong says some people involved in the first shooting were gathered at a business when a white car pulled into the parking lot, and someone inside shot eight people.

Armstrong says most of the people injured in the second shooting have been treated at hospitals and released.

No arrests have been made.
