Police ID Va. driver in fatal crash at festival
MASONTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Police have identified but not yet charged a Virginia man who apparently lost control of a pickup and ran into three women sleeping in a tent at a West Virginia music festival.
Twenty-year-old Nicole Paris Miller of Mount Pleasant, S.C., was killed Sunday morning, and two other people were seriously injured.
Preston County Sheriff Dallas Wolfe said Monday that Clay Harlin Lewin of Cape Charles, Va., careened into the campsite at the All Good Music Festival in Masontown.
Lewin also struck 20-year-old Elizabeth Rose Doran and 21-year-old Yen H. Tom. Both are also from Mount Pleasant.
Wolfe says no charges will be filed until the investigation is finished.
Doran and Tom were taken to Ruby Memorial in Morgantown. Both were listed in good condition Monday afternoon.
