100 women leave Yemassee for Lifetime Show

YEMASSEE, S.C. (AP) — It will be guy’s week in the small town of Yemassee near the South Carolina coast.

The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports http://bit.ly/qdcZIX that 100 women left town Sunday for a week as part of a reality show that will air on Lifetime television entitled “The Week the Women Went.”

The women took a train Sunday to an undisclosed location.

The show focuses on what happens to the men left behind in town with the women gone. During the week they are working on a community project, the renovation of the town’s train depot.
