2 people arrested in death of SC man

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities have charged two people in the death of a South Carolina man found lying face down in his driveway in June.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports that 33-year-old Kenneth Allen Dyer of North Charleston and 22-year-old Shara Dawn Greene of Ladson were arrested Saturday. Dyer was charged with murder. Greene was charged with being an accessory after murder.

Both suspects remained in the Charleston County jail on Sunday. It was unclear if they had an attorney.

A police report says 43-year-old Robert Weir was found in his driveway about 6:30 a.m. June 21 by a neighbor in the Dunes West subdivision of Mount Pleasant. A bottle of bourbon was nearby.

Mount Pleasant Police Capt. Stan Gragg says Dyer was arrested after U.S. Marshals tracked him to Conway.
