3 arrested after Sumter man’s body found in trunk
SUMTER, S.C. (AP) — Sumer police say they have arrested three people in connection with a body found in the trunk of a car.
Investigators said a relative of 34-year-old William Robinson called police after he disappeared Wednesday. Authorities say his car was found at an apartment complex with his body inside the trunk.
Police say 26-year-old Jacob Terry is charged with murder, his 28-year-old sister, Jacolyn Jacobus, is charged with accessory after the fact of murder and 28-year-old Travis Bracey is charged with obstruction of justice.
Authorities did not release a cause of death or a motive for the killing.
It wasn’t clear if any of the suspects arrested had attorneys.
