Tractor Trailer overturns on I-77

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — An overturned tractor trailer caused headaches for drivers on the south side of the Capital City Wednesday morning. Commuters who were attempting to drive in the area of I-77 Northbound near Bluff Road were being backed up as cleanup crews were in the area. The truck was carrying glass when it turned over, causing pieces of it to fly onto the roadway. Folks who were driving in the area were advised to take Charleston Highway or Old State Road and re-enter via Shop Road. Traffic is now moving through the area.
