COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — For the first time on national television, George and Cindy Anthony, parents of Casey Anthony, who was acquitted in the death of her toddler daughter, Caylee, in July, sit down on the Dr. Phil Show and reveal what the jury never heard, and a Midlands psychologist discusses the emotional toll of it all. Dr. Fred Medway, a Midlands licensed psychologist specializing in children, adolescents and families, believes mental and emotional healing are available for the Anthony family. He says the parents, George and Cindy, must first ask tough questions of each other and then begin to channel their pain into positive activities. In the televised interview, the couple admits they differ on the innocence of their daughter, Casey. Medway say in order for reconciliation to take place, all three parties have to be willing to work. The Anthonys have been estranged from daughter, Casey, since her acquittal in July.
