Presidential candidate Herman Cain visiting SC

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina congressman Tim Scott is hosting Georgia businessman Herman Cain during another of his presidential town hall meetings.

Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, appears with Scott on Saturday on Daniel Island. Pizza is being served free for the lunchtime event.

Scott, a Republican who represents the state’s coastal 1st Congressional District, has previously held town hall meetings with three of the other GOP candidates.

During the sessions, the candidates field questions from the audience and those that have been submitted through social media.

South Carolina’s GOP primary next year is the first in the South.
