Amber Alert issued for infant after mother killed

GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are looking for a 2-month-old girl after her mother was shot to death.

An Amber Alert for Nariyaz Neal was issued Monday. She was last seen in Greenwood about 4 p.m.

Greenwood Police Chief Gerald Brooks says the mother was shot and left on a roadway to die. The infant was in the car that drove away.

Authorities are looking for a 2001 Honda Accord with license plate number GLK280.
