Citadel Grad Marvin McIntyre holds book signing

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Noted financial adviser Marvin H. McIntyre is returning to his alma mater, The Citadel, to sign copies of his new book.

McIntyre, who has advised corporate clients for 40 years, signs copies of his novel “Insiders” after the Citadel parade on Friday and before the Wofford football game on Saturday.

McIntyre, who has appeared frequently on television and radio programs about financial investments, is a 1965 graduate of the military college. His novel is inspired by the events that affected the world’s financial markets in 2008 and 2009.

Proceeds from the campus book signings go to The Citadel Foundation which helps support the college.
