Man Shoots Into Bar After Being Kicked Out

SMYRNA, S.C. (AP) _ York County deputies say they arrested a man who shot into a bar three separate times after he was kicked out and told never to return. Authorities said 57-year-old Myers Duncan of Blacksburg was charged Tuesday with six counts of attempted murder and discharging firearms into a dwelling. Investigators say Duncan first fired his rifle into Fat Backs Bar in Smyrna on Aug. 28. Two of the six people inside were struck by shrapnel, but their injuries were not serious. Deputies say Duncan then fired into the bar again on Sept. 12 and Oct. 7, but the building was empty both times. Duncan remains in the York County jail on a $10,000 bond. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
