Haley in Lowcounty for Rose re-election fundraiser

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Gov. Nikki Haley is visiting the Lowcountry for a fundraiser and birthday breakfast for state Sen. Mike Rose of Summerville.

The senator is turning 64 and funds raised at the Saturday event will go to his re-election campaign.

Rose has served in the Senate since 2009. He previously served in the state Senate from 1988 to 1997.
