Midnight crash kills 2 of 3 on motorbike in SC

GREER, S.C. (AP) — Two of the three people riding on a motorcycle are dead after a collision with a car on a South Carolina state highway.

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said Saturday the wreck killed 20-year-old Steven Ray Mills and 17-year-old Megan Celeste Warren, both from Greer. Investigators say there where three people on the motorcycle just after midnight on S.C. Highway 417.

Highway Patrol Trooper Bill Ryhne tells WSPA (http://bit.ly/ng3c2r) the motorcycle was rear-ended by a Nissan Maxima. The car’s driver was injured and transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

Autopsies and toxicology results are pending
