First frost advisory of fall issued for Upstate
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued the first frost advisory of the season for the Upstate.
Forecasters said frost is possible Saturday morning from Greenwood to Union to Chester and points north and west.
The weather service expects clear, calm conditions with lows dipping into the mid to upper 30s in the advisory area.
Forecasters are warning people to bring in or cover plants that are sensitive to the cold.
