(WOLO) COLUMBIA So far, Wells Fargo, Regions, Suntrust and Citi Bank have decided to no longer charge their customers to use their debit cards. Good news to some customers who said the fee would have forced them to take their business elsewhere. Some of the banks who wanted to impose either a 3, 4 or 5 dollar monthly fee to recoup losses, say they decided to cancel the plan after hearing the feedback from their customers. Companies like Regions who have already started charging customers say they will begin refunding those who have been charged. Right now, Bank of America is the only financial institution that hasn’t eliminated the implementation of those fees which is set to begin next year, but say they’re considering lowering them.
