Nationwide EAS Test Wednesday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — On Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m., ABC Columbia will be participating in a nationwide Emergency Alert System test conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Communications Commission. The test is designed to check the proficiency of disseminating emergency information nationwide on a timely basis. During that time, your programming will be interrupted for approximately 30-60 seconds. You will be returned to your regular program shortly afterwards.
