CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — The Clemson Tigers are ranked 9th in the latest BCS Standings, but after suffering its first loss of the season a week and a half ago at Georgia Tech, national title hopes are getting a bit more fuzzy. However hopes are still alive for an ACC Atlantic Division Title. Clemson (8-1 overall, 5-1 ACC) hosts Wake Forest (5-4, 4-2 ACC) on Saturday at noon and will clinch the Atlantic Division title with a win. A loss to the Demon Deacons would put on hold any berth to the ACC Championship Game for the Tigers. Wake Forest also defeated Florida State this season, which means a victory over Clemson would give the Demon Deacons first place in the Atlantic Division and the division title if Wake defeats Maryland on November 19th. Saturday also marks senior day as the Tigers hope to finish the regular season undefeated at home with a 7-0 record. The last time a Clemson team went undefeated at Memorial Stadium for a full season was in 1990 (6-0).
