New BCS Standings–Clemson #7, USC #12

(WOLO) — It looks like the annual South Carolina state championship will be for much more than just Palmetto state bragging rights this season. With the annual rivalry less than two weeks away, both Carolina and Clemson football are in the top 12 in the new BCS standings. Clemson moved up two spots to #7 after clinching the ACC Atlantic Division title with a win over Wake Forest. USC moved up one spot to #12 after beating Florida in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history. Clemson is #7 in the new Associated Press Top 25 poll and #8 in the new Coaches USA Today Poll. The Gamecocks are ranked 14th in both the A.P. and Coaches’ polls. #7 Clemson plays at NC State this Saturday at 3:30 on ABC Columbia. #12 USC hosts The Citadel this Saturday at noon. The game will be televised on pay-per-view only. BCS Standings Nov. 13 1
