Clemson students working in virtual hospital

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Some nursing students at Clemson University are getting a chance to experience what it might be like to work in a real hospital.

The university says senior nursing students on Friday are staffing a “virtual hospital” at the school’s Edwards Hall.

The students are using mannequins to practice what it’s like to respond to real-life medical emergencies in their simulated hospital. Scenarios may include what to do if a patient crashes, or loses vital signs.
