New Group Forming to Help SC Nuke Industry Network

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) – A new group is forming to help young people working in South Carolina’s nuclear industry network with each other. The Savannah River Chapter of North America _ Young Generation in Nuclear said Tuesday it would hold its first meeting Jan. 26 in Aiken. People between the ages of 20 and 36 with 10 years of nuclear experience or less are invited to attend. Honorary memberships are also available for people with more than 10 years experience, and people who are also interested in the nuclear industry can join. Organizers say they hope the group will bridge generation gaps among nuclear workers and promote an open discussion about the industry.
