Clemson’s Morris Becomes Highest Paid Assistant in Country

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris won’t only be sticking around as the Tigers offensive coordinator next season, but will now become the highest paid assistant in the country. The Charleston Post & Courier broke today’s story. Morris’ deal that he agreed upon over the weekend is worth up to $1.3 million. The amount Morris receives is a record for an ACC assistant and a record for any assistant working in the state of South Carolina. The paper reports the deal has not been officially signed and the agreement is expected to see no more set-backs.
