Pancakes, pups, cupcakes at College of Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Finals are getting under way at the College of Charleston and students will have cupcakes, pancakes and puppies – among other things – to cope with the stress.

Exams begin Wednesday and students will be able to participate in a Zumba class and pick up a free cookie or cupcake to deal with the pressure.

On Thursday there are free mini-massages.

On Friday morning, it’s Pancakes with the President as college President George Benson and his executive staff whip up pancakes for students.

Later, Pet Helpers, a pet rescue group, will be on campus with puppies and other pets that students can hold and pet to relieve stress.

Finals continue through Monday.
