Grinch hits church, takes cookies and $12

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — There’s apparently a Grinch loose in Orangeburg County.

The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg reports (http://bit.ly/v29nZz) someone climbed a fence outside the Passion of the Cross Church, kicked in a door and then broke through a chain and lock securing a refrigerator.

For all the trouble, the thief got some cookies and $12.

The thief took a cake and soda out of a second refrigerator but left them out on a table.

The sheriff’s department has not reported any arrests.
