More than 100 lighted floats in Lowcountry parade

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — Fireworks and floats are helping usher in the holiday season in Mount Pleasant.

The coastal community holds its annual tree lighting on Sunday evening followed by a fireworks display.

Then the annual holiday parade gets under way featuring more than 100 floats.

Of course Santa makes an appearance at the end of the parade organized by the town Office of Community Development and Tourism.
