DMV to Require Photo ID to Register Vehicles

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– If you need to register a new car at the DMV, pack your patience and a photo i-d. The State Department of Motor Vehicles announced Thursday it will require anyone, individual or business, to provide a valid photo i-d to register and title a vehicle. The new rule goes into effect on January 1st.
