Federal Highway Head Announces Orangeburg Grant

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) – The nation’s top highway official is visiting Orangeburg to announce a highway grant for the area. Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez is making the announcement in Orangeburg on Friday. Officials say it will be a multi-million dollar grant that will eventually help bring jobs to the area. Mendez is making the announcement with state and local officials outside the offices of the Orangeburg County Development Commission.
