Former Manning Court Clerk Charged with Misconduct

MANNING, S.C. (AP) – State agents have arrested a former clerk in Manning’s city court. The State Law Enforcement Division said 56-year-old Russell Miller was arrested Monday and charged with misconduct in office. An arrest warrant says Miller failed to deposit at least $12,800 of money collected by the court into the city’s accounts. SLED says the money was collected between January 2010 and February 2011. It wasn’t clear in Miller had an attorney.
