Man accused of arson in SC stabbed to death

CLOVER, S.C. (AP) — A Clover man accused of trying to burn his sister’s garage has been found stabbed to death.

York County Coroner Sabrina Gast says 43-year-old Samuel Wall was pronounced dead at a home in Clover around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police Chief Randy Grice says someone called 911 to say several people were fighting at a home and someone had been stabbed.

Grice says a 15-year-old boy also was stabbed several times but was in good condition in a Charlotte, N.C., hospital.

No charges have been filed.

Wall was charged with arson last week after witnesses told police he set his sister’s garage on fire. He had been released a short time later.
