Cops: Pelion man killed brother over domino game
PELION, S.C. (AP) — Lexington County deputies say a 34-year-old man shot his younger brother to death in the Pelion home they shared after they argued over a game of dominos.
Investigators said Robert Banks Jr. ran from the house after shooting his brother in the head around 10 p.m. Friday, but he was arrested a few hours later and admitted to the shooting.
Deputies say Banks argued with his 33-year-old brother Bobby Banks about the game before going to his bedroom and getting a .45-caliber handgun.
Robert Banks is charged with murder and is awaiting a bond hearing at the Lexington County jail. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
