Vandals Do $50,000 in Damage to SC Office

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) _ Spartanburg County deputies say someone did $50,000 worth of damage to a doctor’s office over the weekend. Investigators said vandals drilled a hole in the roof of Weir Ear, Nose and Throat in Spartanburg, then put a garden hose through the hole and turned on the water. Deputies say water may have been running into the building all weekend, flooding the basement and first floor and causing $50,000 worth of damage. Authorities say the building will have to be inspected before anyone else is allowed inside. Deputies did not name any suspects or give a reason why someone might have wanted to damage the building.
