Judge denies bond reduction for Zinah Jennings

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — According to court documents obtained by ABC Columbia News, Judge Manning has denied bond reduction for Zinah Jennings, the mother of missing midlands toddler Amir Jennings. Jennings along with her attorney, Hemphill Pride,II appeared in a Richland County courtroom Monday to request her $150,000 bond be reduced. Mr. Pride stated that his client was being held because she refused to tell police where her son is. Mr. Pride also said his client has the right to remain silent. Zinah Jennings is currently charged with Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child after police say she repeatedly lied to police about the whereabouts of her 18 month old son, Amir Jennings. Police say Amir Jennings hasn’t been seen since Thanksgiving.
