Shooter, 1 other person dead in Greer shooting

GREER, S.C. (AP) — Two people have been shot to death in Greer.

Police Lt. Jim Holcombe says it appears the shooter is one of those killed in the gunfire Monday morning.

Holcombe says officers were called to a home shortly after 9 a.m.

One person was flown to Greenville Memorial Hospital and died there.

Holcombe says there is no search for a suspect. Holcombe says a witness in the home was able to talk with investigators.
