Riverbanks Zoo offers Valentine tour, dinner

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Sweethearts looking for a special Valentine’s experience can spend a night out with the animals.

Susan O’Cain of the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia says couples may reserve a table-for-two on Saturday for the three-course dinner, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. next Saturday.

The event is only for those over 21 years of age. A cash bar will be available.

A walking tour with the facts on animal courtship will be offered prior to the dinner, which costs $100 a couple. Reservations should be made by Monday, Feb. 6 online at www.riverbanks.org .
