SC police arrest suspect in MB at-home homicide
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — A suspect is in custody after a slaying in North Myrtle Beach.
City spokesman Pat Dowling says the identity of the suspect arrested hasn’t been released.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says 59-year-old Eugene Permanter was killed Saturday in his home. Edge isn’t revealing the cause of death from an autopsy Sunday because of the ongoing police investigation
Dowling says Permenter’s brother came to the home and found his brother dead. The brother told police that Permenter shared his home with his son, who was not in the home at the time.
