SC troopers say 7 injured in fiery I-95 wreck

WALTERBORO, S.C. (AP) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery crash on Interstate 95 in Colleton County that sent seven people to a hospital.

Troopers say Sunday they’re still investigating the cause of the overnight wreck involving a tractor-trailer and four other vehicles in the northbound lanes of I-95.

Authorities say seven people were taken to an area hospital and their injuries are unknown. The highway is back open after authorities had to remove the 18-wheeler out of the road.
