130 jobs at assisted living center in Tega Cay
TEGA CAY, S.C. (AP) — Officials say a new assisted living center in York County will create 130 jobs.
A company called Wellmore said Monday it will spend $30 million for the assisted living community in Tega Cay.
The community will include assisted living apartments, memory care and skilled nursing services. It will include a community clubhouse and wellness center.
Construction is to start in July and the center is expected to open in 2014.
There was no immediate word on how many people the new community could accommodate.
