Missing Oklahoma woman found safe in S. Carolina
PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a missing Garvin County woman has been found safe in South Carolina after apparently hitchhiking her way across Interstate 40.
Garvin County Sheriff’s Capt. Travis Crawford says 21-year-old Lisa Needham was found at about 9 a.m. Wednesday at a facility in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Crawford tells The Oklahoman (http://is.gd/a5jL8T ) that authorities do not believe foul play was involved.
Needham was reported missing at about 5 a.m. Monday. The sheriff’s office says Needham has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and cerebral palsy and didn’t have any of her medication with her. Officials also said she didn’t have any money or a cell phone to call for help.
