Tornado confirmed in Richland County
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Richland County, where it knocked down trees and branches.
The storm was rated an EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, the system that measure the intensity of tornados. EF-0 is the weakest rating, meaning it had winds between 65 mph and 85 mph
