SC Junior Golf Association kicks off kids program

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — It’s time for the young golfers in South Carolina to tee it up.

The South Carolina Junior Golf Association is kicking off its Clubs 4 Kids Program Saturday with events in Union and Hilton Head Island.

The events are free of charge and are scheduled between 1 and 3 p.m. No experience is necessary, and junior golfers get free clubs and free instruction from local PGA pros and volunteers.

Clubs 4 Kids Programs are also scheduled for March 31 in Gaston and April 14 in Easley. This program is made possible by a grant from the Carolinas Golf Association.
