Man’s body found in Reedy River

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The body of a Greenville man has been found in the Reedy River.

The Greenville News reported (http://grnol.co/xQxRKC) the body of 73-year-old Eugene N. Medeiros was found in the river behind his home early Sunday morning.

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis says an autopsy is planned Monday.

Sheriff’s spokesman Jennings Autrey says there is no sign of foul play.

Ellis says the victim’s son and two daughters came to Greenville from Oklahoma after neighbors reported the man missing. The children found their father’s body in the river.
