11 more charges against former SC coach, teacher

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — More sex charges have been filed against a former coach and teacher in the Charleston area

Prosecutor Scarlett Wilson said the Berkeley County grand jury on Wednesday returned 11 indictments against Louis ReVille. Wilson says the new charges involve five of the alleged victims already part of existing charges in Charleston and Berkeley counties.

Authorities think they have identified 22 victims.

The new charges are five counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and five counts of a lewd act on a minor and one count of distributing pornography to a minor.

ReVille worked in a number of programs around the area in the past 10 years.

Six lawsuits were filed this week against The Citadel, accusing officials of failing to protect boys in the school’s camps. .
