AG Wilson on Healthcare Act Panel

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) –South Carolina’s top prosecutor is in Washington this week to participate in a panel discussion about the Obama administration’s health care overhaul. Attorney General Alan Wilson’s office says he is a panelist at an event being held Thursday by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group. Former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum is also taking part in the discussion. McCollum and Wilson’s predecessor, Henry McMaster, were among the attorneys general who initially sued over the health care bill when it was passed by Congress. Former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey is also taking part in the discussion. She is the author of a book entitled “Obama Health Law: What It Says and How to Overturn It.”
