9 new merchants opening in SC visitor attraction

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Nine new shops are opening for the upcoming summer season at the popular Broadway at the Beach visitor attraction in Myrtle Beach.

The shops sell everything from apparel to home décor items. Recently, The Rodeo Bar & Grill opened in the Celebrity Square entertainment section.

Broadway at the Beach is located on 350 acres in the heart of Myrtle Beach. It features four theaters, 22 restaurants, various attractions and rides and more than 100 specialty shops. It attracts an estimated 14 million visitors a year.

Myrtle Beach is at the center of South Carolina’s $15 billion tourism industry.
