1 dead; woman questioned in Horry County shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Horry County Police are trying to unravel the events that led to the shooting death of a Myrtle Beach man.

Investigators said officers found a 46-year-old man wounded at his home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday. He died at the hospital a short time later. His name has not been released.

Authorities say a woman at the home was taken into custody to be questioned, but no charges have been filed against her.

Horry County Police say this is the eighth homicide they have investigated this year.
