TV show has new grisly Superbike killings details
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Spartanburg County deputies have released more details about the unsolved killing of four people in a Chesnee motorcycle shop nearly a decade ago.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg (http://bit.ly/HyZjGw) reports the new details came out Friday in a segment of the television show “America’s Most Wanted.”
Investigators say the shooter at Superbike Motorsports in November 2003 was very accurate, hitting at least two and maybe three of the victims as they were trying to run out of the shop.
Authorities say after shooting the four victims, he came back to each one and shot them again in the head. One theory investigators are considering is the suspect was a disgruntled customer.
Deputies recently released a new drawing of a person of interest and a $25,000 reward is still being offered.
