Byrd Co-Winner Of Masters Par Three Contest

AUGUSTA, GA (WOLO) — Former Spring Valley and Clemson standout Jonathan Byrd is hoping he can break a Masters tradition this year and become the first golfer to win the Masters Par Three contest and the Masters in the same year. Byrd and Padraig Harrington were crowned the co-winners of this year’s contest that was shortened by rain. Both golfers finished the 9-hole course 5-under par. Byrd is one of four golfers in the field from Clemson. Oklahoma St. is the only school with more Masters participants with five.
