Victim Identified in Night Club Shooting

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– We now know the name of a man shot and killed at a Columbia night club Friday night. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts says Thai Quac Tran died from multiple gunshot wounds following a shooting at Club Element. Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say Tran was shot and killed by security guards at the club after driving erratically in the parking lot hitting several cars and running over a security guard. Deputies say the guard Tran hit is in stable condition tonight at Palmetto Health Richland.
